9. day - 01/08/2015 -

We met with Adam at 2 pm. We took a Bemo minivan with a young driver and loud music. Traffic seems chaotic. We went to see the monkey cave, which is in a Japanese garden and is owned by a family. 10,000 rupees per entry was requested. The male monkey at the entry has not sympathized with us and from the beginning it was snarling at us. We could not see the monkeys at the cave only one in a cage. The host said that the apes have a rest now (it was around 3 pm), but we can see them in the morning between 8-10 and after 5 pm. When we went out of the monkey we met before was eating next to the busy road. Immediately as he saw us started to attack us and tried to get our legs. Finally the ranger chase him back behind the fence of the park.
The museum was closed for the weekend but the guards were nice and opened it for us. Adam was a very good guide of us. Finally, we ended up at the Inpres market where the local sellers were really jealous of our pointy nose. We decided not to by the mandarins because it was very expensive. Otherwise, everything else was cheap. In the evening we went to the fish market and invited Adam for a fish dinner (the place was called: Pasar Ikan Kelapa Lima)..

10. day - 02/08/2015 - , Preparing for leave Kupang

We did the last shopping, we ordered new Hungarian flag for the boat..

11. day - 03/08/2015 -

We are sailing close to the shore of Timor, we had some counter currents on the way due to the Indonesian through-flow (ocean current), but was not too bad and there was not much wind, so most of the time motor-sailed. .

12. day - 04/08/2015 - , Kalabahi town (Alor)

We arrived at Alor.

Prayers were on loud speaker from 4 am we could not get back to sleep as it took for 45 minutes at least.

We had a tea with the crew of Spruce in the morning. We had to register our arrival at the Port Captain.
